[Quinn Hatch is, by nature, a people person. A party person. Mayfield is way too quiet and boring for his tastes, not to mention that he's a bit lonely and homesick. Working as a teacher has kept him busier than he thought it would, and the daily grind tough on him. Today though, he's calling out to chillax! You may find him:

1. Working in his garage on Brady Lane. From within, his regained laptop and stereo system are set up and are positively BLARING music at a drone-unacceptable level. He looks quite content though, working on something in there with some newly-acquired tools. The music is all different kinds - rock, metal, dance, rap, Quinn listens to it all. Come rock out/find out what he's doing/complain?

2. Later in the evening at the tavern. He doesn't want to drink alone, and you look like a good-looking friendly stranger! Look out, because he's sitting down next to you. If you're nice enough he might even buy you a drink.

3. Later that evening, stealing car parts. That might be your car he's harvesting. Whoops! He was meaning to get drones' cars, but who can tell in the dark, or after you've had a few too many. Double-whoops. But as far as he knows, it's the best and really only way to collect what he needs to build things.

Well you can have what you like behind me, then, but I need the ventilation systems, fans, and hoses, as well as a few other parts. It's important, and I can't afford to share.

Air filters and oxygen generators. [She eyes him carefully.] Are you new here, or have you been here for the hazmat attacks?

Yeah, I'm pretty new still. I was here for that. Talk about insane. Me 'n' Raz barricaded ourselves in until it was over. The house down the street from me blew the hell up after those hazmat guys ran inside! So, I'm tryin' to come up with some kinda security system myself.

Of course! This town better not think it can outsmart me. I'll MacGuyer the shit out of these cars and come up with something awesome, you wait 'n' see.

Elizabeθ Buckley. We should work together. At the moment...well, as I said, I'm building air purifiers and oxygen generators so that houses can be sealed against hazmats and their gas attacks. If you can build automatic weapons systems... It will be far easier to fortify one or two places and try to get everyone together than it will be to fortify each individual home. Will you assist me?

Weapons? Ah, I don't know 'bout that. I was thinkin' of somethin' that'll just lock down the house, keeping us safe inside. Weapon's would be good against hazmat guys, but I wouldn't wanna see anyone else get hurt. Could be tough to devise.

A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Hatch. And that's precisely what I'm working on, just going about it a bit differently. Next time my group gets together, I'll see to it that you're invited as well...we should work together to keep as many people safe as possible. After all, on your own, should your defences fail, what have you then? Should our combined defences be breached, not only is that less likely... [A smug smile.] I'll let you find out what then.

Fair enough. I kinda had this bet goin' on with a guy that I could build somethin' better than him... [He really wanted to do that too.] but maybe it's better just to get it done, huh?

Yeah, that's him! Guy who wears lipstick and has a giant robot. That thing is so awesome! Alright, well how about we get all our work done, then we can all work about our bets later.

We shall have to think of a way to run a three-way competition, perhaps pull in a few judges. Maybe open it up to all of the inventors of the town...

I don't think my Darling will appreciate it if I bring a strange man home. I'll have the ventilation systems and other parts I need, you have the rest, and I'll come over to look at what you have to work with after I've finished the oxygen generators.
