[Quinn's still trying to get used to a "normal" day-to-day life in Mayfield... and just can't. This wholesome 1950s living is about the exact opposite of what he's used to. He's getting a bit stir-crazy. And now it's Halloween! His favorite holiday! Someone's got to be doing something, he hoped...]


H-Hey! Uh, I know I'm new and all here, and things were just kinda, shall we say, "hectic" in town, but don't tell me none of ya'll are havin' a Halloween party? Someone is, right? Talk about a waste... we should be partyin' it up. Time to kick back and have some fun after all that, ya know?


[Not exactly sure what to do with himself, Quinn will be sitting on his front porch handing out candy. He'll be dressed in an angel costume, because he thought it was kind of funny. He looks a bit mopey though. He doesn't remember the last time he's had a Halloween this lame, and he was starting to miss his family back home.]

You got a lot of specialties then? You're definitely lucky. Where I'm from, ya only get one. Sometimes two but... that's more trouble than it's worth if ya ask me.

I hope ya plan on openin' some holy hell on these guys once you get that all back!

Yeah, it's true a lot of people stick to one element or another, but it's all black magic, in the end! And I'm a prodigy so I can handle it.

[Quinn is treated to a brief demonstration of the creation of fire, ice, lightning, poison gas, and . . . for whatever reason, pigs, in short order.]

You'd be famous where I'm from. No one can do that much kinda stuff where I'm from. That don't mean we ain't any good though! Once you find what it is you do, it's your responsibility to be the very best at whatever that is! Or at least, I think so. Why bother havin' cool magic if you're not gonna use it?

Yeah, definitely! Magic is pretty much the coolest. You can be the technodancing prodigy here and I'll be the black magic one and we'll both show the dumb town what for!
